About
Terletak di kabupaten Solok, provinsi Sumatra Barat. Bertipe Stratovolcano dan merupakan salah satu dari gunung api aktif di Sumatra Barat Rute pendakian via Batu Bajanjang, Bukit Sileh ke timur laut, atau via perkebunan teh di Air Batumbuk ke selatan. Dari puncak gunung Talang dapat terlihat pemandangan danau Kembar, danau Talang dan danau Singkarak. Letusan Gunung Talang terjadi pertama kali pada 1833, diikuti tahun 1843, 1845, 1883, 1981 dan 2005.
